Worst Case Scenario
posted: March 9, 2010
Here is an image that I sent out earlier this month as an email promo. My concern was that younger AD's wouldn't be savvy to the Pinto reference. The 70's after all, is ancient history. Instead I heard from a couple of AD's who actually owned Pintos and got an assignment from an AD who used to drive a  Ford Maverick. I also heard from a buddy who works in big truck garage who told me the cartoon was a big hit among the drivers. Now if I could only get them to assign some illustration.

Hilarious - makes me think I should get a cow catcher on the front of my Tacoma.

I consider myself a youngun, and the Pinto reference is common to me as Pintos are among some of my dad's favorite jokes. Hilarious cartoon! Glad its bringing in some work.

This just puts a grin on my face. Also I am really liking your banner artwork.

This is a riot, and yes, I remember the ill fated Pinto.

Funny one Hal! And don't forget the 1960's "One car accident" Chevy Corvair.

This is rich! For lawyers a "best" case scenario.

Long live the Pinto jokes... very funny.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. A couple of years ago my boys got a book for Christmas about the worst cars ever made. A treasure trove of material. Tie a yellow Yugo around the old oak tree. The Corvair was prominently featured, Mark.

You don't need to know the reference so well to understand and laugh out loud with this one, Hal. I cracked up with that e-mail. Those faces are too much!

LOL. Funny image.

LOL! I used to drive a Pinto. In fact, my parents bought me a used one for my 16th birthday. I eventually forgave them.
