I recall fondly a little rhyme we used to enthusiastically chant in my youth: Hooray, hooray! The fourth of May! Naked swimming begins today!
I slept naked in anticipation, but was stymied by heavy rains this AM. Happy May 4th, Hal- we'll get 'em next year!

Happy Cuatro de Mayo!

Thanks for all the comments folk. Hearing from all my pals has made an otherwise dreary day most enjoyable.

Happy Birthday and eve, Hal.

And there is still 4 hours and 40 minutes to go! This day IS great.

The people in my general area are oblivious ! !

I missed the celebrations. Happy may 4th Mr Mayforth! It was fun seeing this as may 4th is my birthday too. I got a new BBQ from my wife. I'll put an extra sausage on for you next year Hal.

Just woke up. There are people and livestock scattered all over our front yard. I love May 4th and the party that it brings but I always have lots of explaining to do on May 5th.

A bottle of good tequila can put off your 'splainin' for another day, Jim!
